Ms. Hanley graduated with honors from the University of Notre Dame with Bachelors of Arts degrees in History and Art History. In 1998, Ms. Hanley graduated with honors from the University of Florida School of Law. During school, and continuing after graduation, Ms. Hanley clerked for the Public Defender’s Office in Gainesville, Florida, gaining criminal litigation experience in the Misdemeanor Division. Ms. Hanley left the Public Defender’s Office to join the private sector in 1998. In 2001, Ms. Hanley joined the law firm of O’Hanlon, Demerath & Castillo as supervising paralegal, where she works in education law.
