Sylvia G. Rocha
Ms. Rocha began working for O’Hanlon, Demerath & Castillo as a Certified Paralegal in 2012; she provides staff support to all firm attorneys. Ms. Rocha works on Personal Injury Cases; Family, Probate, Criminal and Civil litigation.
Ms. Rocha was born in Edinburg, Texas. The eldest of 8 siblings and raised in a small community of Edcouch-Elsa. She graduated from Edcouch-Elsa High School in 1975; attended Big Bend Community College in Moses Lake, Washington, attaining Associates in 1977; then later a BA in Elementary Education and obtained a BA in Business Administration with Legal Theories from Trinity Southern University in 2003. She became a certified paralegal through the State Bar of Texas in 1982.
Ms. Rocha worked previously for a solo practitioner engaged in personal injury, civil litigation, and criminal as well as Family law before joining ODC in 2012.
Ms. Rocha is the mother of Eric Lee Pena and her daughter-in-law Denise Pena, who have two lovely children Eric Lee and Nolan Luke Pena. She appreciates the fine arts, antique shops, wine tasting events; concerts, is an active parishioner in her church Holy Spirt in McAllen, Texas, and spending time with her beloved dog Diva.
