Alyssa's academic foundation was laid at the prestigious University of Texas at Austin, where she graduated with a degree in Government in 2016. Her pursuit of legal excellence led her to the Thurgood Marshall School of Law, culminating in a Juris Doctorate in 2019. Her time at law school not only sharpened her legal skills but also deepened her resolve to make a meaningful impact in the legal sphere.
Before joining our team, Alyssa honed her legal skills as an Assistant District Attorney at the Hidalgo County District Attorney’s Office. It was here that she flourished in the heat of litigation, successfully steering numerous cases through Jury Trials. Alyssa’s tenure at the District Attorney’s Office was more than a job; it was a journey that ignited her passion for advocacy and justice in the courtroom.
Alyssa's legal prowess is complemented by her profound respect for education, a value instilled in her upbringing in a family deeply rooted in the educational field. This unique combination of litigation passion and educational commitment positions her to make unique contributions in legal matters involving educational institutions and beyond.
When not in the courtroom, Alyssa's life is a tapestry of diverse interests. She is an ardent supporter of the Texas Longhorns and the Houston Astros, finds joy in the simple pleasures of shopping, and is a self-proclaimed Taylor Swift enthusiast. Most importantly, Alyssa treasures time spent with her fiancé and family, grounding her in the values that drive her success.
