Eden Ramirez, Jr.

Eden Ramirez Jr. is a Texas attorney whose practice spans governmental entities, private corporations, and nonprofit organizations. He counsels boards, executives, and leadership teams on governance, employment law, commercial litigation, and business transactions, with particular strength in resolving complex disputes and guiding organizations through regulatory and operational challenges.

 

Mr. Ramirez represents governmental bodies, school boards, and municipalities, where he provides day-to-day legal guidance and long-range strategic advice. He also serves as counsel to private corporations across industries, handling business litigation, negotiating contracts, and structuring transactions. His practice frequently involves high-stakes matters at the intersection of public and private interests, including intergovernmental disputes, public–private partnerships, and compliance with Texas statutes governing transparency and accountability such as the Open Meetings Act, the Public Information Act, and the Election Code.

 

In his litigation practice, Mr. Ramirez has managed commercial disputes, employment claims, and governance conflicts, representing both institutions and businesses in contested proceedings. On the transactional side, he regularly advises clients on executive contracts, labor and employment matters, acquisitions, and business restructuring. His ability to integrate litigation strategy with transactional foresight provides clients with comprehensive counsel that anticipates risk and supports long-term objectives.

 

Beyond his litigation and corporate work, Mr. Ramirez leads his firm’s executive search practice, assisting organizations in identifying and securing top-tier leadership. He also advises nonprofit water supply corporations and other entities engaged in infrastructure and economic development projects, including matters involving interlocal agreements and regulatory oversight.

 

Mr. Ramirez earned his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley and his Juris Doctorate from St. Mary’s University School of Law. During law school, he gained valuable experience as a legal intern with the Texas Education Agency’s Office of Legal Counsel, where he developed insight into administrative and regulatory processes.

 

Fluent in Spanish and licensed to practice in Texas, he is an active member of the Governmental Law, Administrative Law, Water Law, and School Law sections of the State Bar of Texas. His practice is defined by a pragmatic, solutions-driven approach to the legal and operational issues faced by public institutions, corporations, and nonprofit organizations alike.
