Mark Goulet passionately advises, supports, and defends Texas school clients. He knows the importance of the work of public education. For over 30 years, Mark has counseled school districts and other governmental entities concerning all areas of education and government law, including labor and employment, student discipline, contracts and purchasing, open government, elections, civil rights matters, and constitutional law.
Mark is a frequent writer, speaker, and trainer on legal issues impacting public schools. His articles on topics such as employment law, constitutional law, student discipline, and the Open Meetings Act have been published in various law publications. He has also been quoted on education law issues in the Wall Street Journal.
Mark is a University of Illinois and the University of Texas School of Law graduate. He is licensed to practice in all Texas courts and the United States District Courts for the Northern, Western, Eastern, and Southern Districts of Texas. He is licensed to practice before the Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals and the United States Supreme Court.
